Saltwater Grille

Kate our server was AWESOME. (Kate from MA) She was knowledgeable and quick to add the extra touches for our lunch experience. Food was hot and flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

Nice evening, nice place/pleasant staff & atmosphere, and really nice sunset! (behind the harbor and skyline) we had appetizers only of (3) Great Tuna tartar tacos, (mid teens$) my wife a bowl of fish/clam chowder... very good too.

The 2 drinks at the bar,with house booze ( while waiting for an amazing outdoor deck table) ... Whiskey and Ginger and a Cape Cod...over $20.00 seem kinda expensive to me.... A Geezer.

Pretty good experience. My parents got married here about 7 years ago, and it was good then. They go here a lot, and while visiting Maine from Georgia they took me and my partner. I had the haddock and it was great! Fries were seasoned very well. The calamari was good! Took off one star for the lobster roll, didn’t have much taste and the lobster was just a bit rubbery. Overall though, I would come back!

stunning atmosphere. decent food. i went during the day and it was great. they let us sit out on the deck and enjoy our drinks at a slow pace. no pressure to leave, even though they were fairly busy. The night time skyline of Portland is probably quite something from this vantage.

My husband and I loved our experience having our wedding reception at the Saltwater Grille! We wanted to have our wedding reception at the Saltwater Grille as it's right in our neighborhood and most of our guest were from out of town. The view from the Saltwater Grille is not to be missed! Megan Brady was so wonderful to work with. She made the whole process so easy and simple, providing us on a number of different options so we could decide what would be the best fit for our reception. Additionally, Megan made it easy for us to use the smaller reception room as a back up if our outdoor ceremony was rained out. Luckily the weather was fine and we didn't need to do that but it was such an immense relief to have a back-up option built in like that. Like I said, the view is amazing but the food, the staff, and the full experience were even better. Many of my guests are still raving about the food, especially the gnocchi! The price was great and parking was a breeze, and you have the entire upstairs to yourself. My husband and I loved having our reception at a restaurant because now we can go back regularly to celebrate our marriage. We are beyond happy with our choice to hold our reception at the Saltwater Grille!
