The Outpost Bar and Grill

We went to dinner on a Saturday night, around 5:30pm. When we got there the place was packed. When the waitress sat us she apologized in advance, because she was the only server who came in. You would have never known, other staff members pitched in to help. Service was great and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely go back.

Food and waitstaff were amazing. The new owners have made this place amazing! They posted a picture of their daily special and it did not disappoint. I will be back

New owner and invigorated management. Welcome Nathan and family to the neighborhood. Lovely canoe trip across Watchic Lake and the inlet to the Outpost, serving soul food and a range of beers on tap (including a few craft and IPAs). I had succulent buffalo wings with blue cheese and fried seasonal mixed vegetables. Staff friendly, service fast; seating inside or outside on the inlet/garden, and takeaway possible. See you again real soon!

Both times I’ve been here did not disappoint. The food is delicious, and the drinks are creative and well appointed. The Outpost is in a wonderful location, it’s beautifully decorated, and you can tell the owners care very much about what they bring to the table. Support a new local business and check it out!

We enjoyed our experience very much. The place has a wonderful vibe. Has only been open for a few weeks but you would never know it. Service was fast and friendly. Micheala our server was wonderful. Then the owner Kate came over for a chat and was delightful. Shared her vision for the place going forward and convinced all of us the place has a bright future.
