I scheduled a birthday party here and the entire experience was great. The email communication to reserve the space was quickly responded to and she answered all my questions. Once we got there everyone was extremely accommodating. We were all able to order food/ drink on separate checks and everything we ordered was tasty. Would recommend!
Outdoor ambiance is the best of the entire restaurant for warm weather appreciation, chatting with friends, and enjoying drinks & appetizers. Food wasn't the best, but given the understaffed situation, everyone did their best and deserves recognition for their hard work all night long.
I had a hard time deciding between four and five stars for 33 Elmwood. Compared to the bowling alleys I grew up with this is clearly a fantastic experience on every front. The building is cleaner and modern, the food has actual effort put into it, they've even added bocce and cornhole.
However, I feel like I have to take into account that none of the food items or cocktails we tried were all that great (even though we had high hopes after reading through the menu). It's clearly a huge step forward from the days of the grimy cigarette-filled bowling alleys from my childhood. I'd totally come back here again for a great time bowling and would absolutely get a beer and some appetizers with it but I don't think I'll be ordering more of their larger format meals or cocktails.
Sooo much fun, bacci, candlepin bowling and regular bowling. The drinks are excellent, good wings, awesome pizza. Staff are super friendly
Great setup and plenty of room for an office function. The food was decent and definitely made in house. I can't attest to the bowling because my office party was taking all the lanes (over 200 attending) but the bocheball and Cornhole courts were a lot of fun.
