Rio Bravo - Westbrook

This is the Saturday trio, we would like to say that Gael is an awesome person, great waiter. Always shows special attention to his customers. Takes the time to make you feel welcome. There has never been a time that the whole staff has always made us feel very welcome. Thank you for making us feel special.

I would give it a 4.9 out of five. The reatraunt was nice. The seats at the table are questionable if they can hold a larger person. I am a plus-size person, and it did hold me up. We did get the fajitas. A portion for two is really big. It could feed three people easily. There was a lot of chicken, which is nice. The salsa they put out with chip was really runny, and bo cheese for the fajita, I had to ask. They do fresh guacamole at your table. I did not get that, I did see it. Next time, I will get that. It is very good and the cost was very reasonable.

The food was delicious and our server was wonderful. The bar was packed with people having a great time. I got the pork carnitas tacos and they were very tasty and surprisingly filling. The attention to customer service was obvious. The smiles and mindful attention were very appreciated. We loved our meals and will be back.

Great margaritas! This place knows what they are doing and the food seems authentic. I ordered my favorite, carne asada, with some flan for dessert. Service was good and everyone was friendly. My service dog joined us at the table and he liked the atmosphere. I would recommend Rio Bravo if you are in the area. I was at a local hotel nearby. Screw Flanders.

This place was great! It still looks like a Ruby Tuesday on the outside but COMPLETELY transformed inside. The menu seems to do a really good job of offering authentic Mexican food and some Tex-Mex favs to please everyone. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. The manager (or owner maybe?) also checked on us. My husband and I both had tacos (him carnitas and me fish tempura) and they were delicious! I also really appreciated the margarita variety since I prefer mine made simply and without sour mix. Had a delicious ultimate margarita and we can wait to go back. Super excited to have this business in Westbrook!
