Amazing food- had the beet crostini and pork belly was to die for. Small plates only! Great selection of wine, too. The staff was a little impersonal to guests, but I was perfectly okay in my own little world. Great, authentic food!

Delightful meal. Great food presentation. Intimate ambience and off the beaten path for mass tourist crowd. Recommend shrimp and polenta dish.

I almost don’t want to share this place ???? because I don’t want it to get too popular and save this secret gem to myself. The food was AMAZING.

The restaurant is small and we had to wait for about 45 mins to get seated. However the food come out pretty quickly after we ordered.

The portion of the food were small so you are meant to get many plates. I will have to say that it is a bit pricey but well worth it. It was the best meal we had in Bar Harbor.

My wife and I had one of the best meals of our lives at CIAO. Everything we ordered was excellent. The duck ragout and chicken liver crostini highlighted two of the six things we tried... plus dessert. We are only in town a few nights, but are already thinking about going back tomorrow to try some of the other dishes. Very very pleased!

My husband found this place by accident and it turned out to be our best dinner experience in Bar Harbor. They are newly opened and was not yet on Yelp (at least I couldn’t find it). We ordered French Lobster Roll, Pork Belly taco, mussels and fried cauliflowers. Everything was so delicious. Pork belly taco was our favorite. Highly recommended.
