Even though we ate at Finback hours before they were to close for 2019, the food was outstanding. We enjoyed a Mediterranean salad with blackened haddock and a Finn Burger. Both meals were very good, with the meats cooked to perfection. Seasonings were excellent and the fries wonderfully crispy. We are looking forward to our next meal at Finback.

Nice unexpected visit here several weeks ago for our anniversary celebration.. food was good, especially the short rib crostinis recommended by our very nice server but the lobster roll was soggy and chowder mediocre.. the 2 young women seated a foot away from us unfortunately ruined our evening by being incredibly rude to staff when they were carded and made quite a scene. The bartender had to get involved and handled the situation very professionally.. not their fault but I think our food ended up sitting in the window for awhile as staff was preoccupied.

Had dinner this evening. Lobster very reasonable. The pot roast grilled cheese sandwich was really good. Peppered correctly and the portion was generous. Service was prompt as well. Great experience all around.

We waited ten minutes before we stopped a waitress and asked her to take our drink order. Then we waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. That would have been okay, but my kids chicken tenders were cold by this point and my burger was dry. I got the mushroom Swiss burger on rye, my husband had the pulled pork sandwich and he said that was very good. Our waitress never came back to check on us or our drinks until we were done eating. There appeared to be only one other waiter working in the entire restaurant. This place needs more staff on the floor and in the kitchen.

Well I was In Maine so of course I had the lobster roll.... And it was EXCELLENT. Perfect amount of sauce, did not over power the lobster at all. Was amazing! Having been in the industry for a decade I read the entire menu and am only sorry I wasn't able to go back and try a few more things. Super friendly staff. Everyone was more than accommodating.

For those from the South do not let the "Ale House" moniker fool you into going elsewhere. This is not in the least bit a franchise and I would go back repeatedly if time and circumstances allowed. Awesome place! A definite must visit.
