Side Street Cafe

Omg where to start! So amazing!!! We got the seasonal margarita- apple cider and it was amazing. The lobster Mac and cheese was outta this world. We got a half to share and it was perfect in size. We also got crab cakes which were really good. Some places can make them kinda dry, but they were very good here!!

Great food! Definitely make a reservation/ get on the wait list before you arrive. Even if there's a wait, you can get a drink or two at the bar (margaritas are really good)
We tried the crab cakes, crab dip and baked wings. Crab cakes could have been better but absolutely loved the dip and wings. Will try the lobster next time.

Great place! Lots of seating, but it felt a tiny bit cramped. Food was fantastic. Got the crab dip as a starter and I highly recommend. The seafood mac and cheese for my entree was fantastic - the scallops were cooked really well. Food came out timely and everyone had a good time!

Delicious food on a breezy patio overlooking a quiet side street (as the name implies). The service is great. For food, it really enough to say that I went here three times in the week I was in Bar Harbor. Lobster mac and cheese did not disappoint, it's everything you'd dream it would be. And the lobster dinner specials are all great in their different way.
Cold beer to top it off and your evening is complete

Waitress was pleasant and helpful. The portions were very generous. My halibut Reuben was exceptionally tasty. Only drawback was that upon leaving the bathroom had a bit of urine odor(maybe someone had missed a few minutes before me and they hadn't checked in it in between). Their blueberry pie is decadently delicious.
