Great Whoppie Pie Stout! Last years as good as this years! Thank you Brothers.
WOW! What a gem this is, hiding on the shores of the Penobscot in downtown Bucksport. We really liked their bakehouse in Bangor but the new Brewhouse is starting its own league in Maine. The menu is not extensive, but there a something for everyone. The food is outstanding. Not enough adjectives to list everything that is right, so just know it will taste better than you thought it would. They offer a select group of fine, high quality brewed beverages. Our party tried them all, shared then and found they met or exceeded the descriptive expectations. We will be going back regularly. I'm afraid we might miss something!
This place has such a good vide to it. Cellphones are a no in the dining area, unless you can get permission. The service was phenomenal. Always checking in, making sure everything was doing good. From there, the beer they make is exceptional! The food being cooked up was amazing as well. Well worth the dining experience and again...beer is amazing!
Soup was delicious and lemon crumb cake dessert was awesome. Limited wine selection but very good choices. Beer list looked very interesting but did not partake. Too bad they don't have outdoor seating because the view out the windows is amazing. Very enjoyable!
Great place for eating and drinking! We had a lovely anniversary lunch with the their home brews!
Went again when my daughter and her family came. They were totally impressed with with the beers and food!! The service was excellent. My daughter ordered the lobster sandwich which blew our minds, chock full of fresh Maine lobster on a fresh baguette which the Friars make,my son-in-law had a fabulous sandwich. They were huge and thoroughly enjoyed. They don't have a children's menu but she loved the mac and cheese. The beers were excellent! The views of the harbor and bridge are spectacular!
