Helen's

We're traveling from New Jersey and decided to stop by Helen's to grab some lunch. And we're so glad we did! First, the food is delicious. Our kids especially loved the French onion soup and the fried pickles (and the fresh-baked bread is wonderful as well!). The hubby and I ordered the seafood platter and enjoyed every bite of it. But the highlight of our visit is our lovely server, Reba, who is probably one of the most pleasant person I have ever met.

We definitely recommend this place in case you end up on this side of Maine.

The food was good. But the service was rough we were supposed to get bread on our table never got it everyone around us did!
I got soup but no crackers the other tables got it! Would I come back no don’t think so unless other places were packed. This place was recommended by a few local people.

Great service! Outstanding waitress! Reasonable prices! Great lobster rolls, sweet potato fries, onion rings and blueberry pie! Clean charming environment!

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way to Bat Harbor. The outside is cute and inviting. The place is decorated in an eclectic style, but it works. The staff are amazingly friendly and hospitable. We were seated immediately and were greeted by our server within seconds. Our server was very energetic and friendly and made you feel at home. Their comfort food menu is what you'd expect, but the actual food is FANTASTIC. We had the popcorn chicken as our appetizer, and I got chicken fingers for my meal, my boyfriend got the chicken burger. We were asked if we'd like fresh homemade bread, and received a cute mini loaf with butter. Our appetizer came very quickly, followed by our meals within minutes. Overall the food was amazing, the service was excellent and the pumpkin pie was to die for! Well worth the trip here!

First time here and we loved it! Service was fantastic, food was delivered to our table with incredible speed, and it all tasted amazing. The pumpkin pie we had for dessert was absolutely delicious! We'll definitely come back again.
