Newly refreshed space with excellent breakfast/brunch fare. I've now sampled several menu items and all were excellent. Great addition to Southwest Harbor. Follow-up... Smoked salmon benedict today served over house grilled potatoes...a delicious alternative. The side of bacon rounded the plate out nicely
We LOVED this place! Southwest Harbor and Clark Point Cafe are truly the hidden gems of Acadia - it's much quieter and more peaceful away from the tourists, with all the same charm. Food in downtown Bar Harbor was mediocre at best, but the breakfast we had here was DELICIOUS - the dishes were fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and definitely made with love. We got the eggs benedict and the blueberry dutch baby pancake. The employees were extremely warm and personable, and a pleasure to speak to. We learned this is their first season open as a restaurant, and hope it stays for many seasons to come! Will definitely be back.
The food here is amazing! It's such a cute spot to grab breakfast or lunch before heading out to Acadia National park. I tried the Brulee banana Dutch Baby, tomato pesto & goat cheese bun. I barely got to get a bite of the Dutch Baby b/c my 6 and 3 yr old inhaled it. Everything here is so yummy and fresh. They even serve La Colombe coffee, a Philly gem! The croissants rival the ones I find in the San Francisco Bay Area. The staff are so friendly too.
I can't say enough about how outstanding this restaurant is for breakfast. Service was outstanding, the food was incredible. Great variety of breakfast options and pastries. Bagels were so good! Will definitely be back before we leave Southwest Harbor.
Very nice little café. Most come here to have breakfast. They are open from 7 am. They have Benedicts, Frenchtoasts, Pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, various pastries, and naturally coffee. You can refill your regular americano coffee for free.
Note: The Frenchtoasts are really sugary without the syrup. Just good to know before ordering.
