Local flavor at its best! To staff is outstanding the owner is awesome she was quite accommodating! You feel like you're going into your own sea shanty with great music for all ages smoking BBQs live lobsters picnic tables and umbrellas outside for sunny beautiful days and for those colder days there's plenty of seating inside. You will not be disappointed with the service and the vittles in this place. Whatever you order is probably going to be delicious. I had the fried fish which was so fresh and prepared perfectly and my friend had the chicken Those portions were quite generous the prices were reasonable this is a must for any tourist going through eat before you get to Bar Harbor you'll have a great meal that doesn't break the bank and feel good about supporting a local business
We came in for a casual dinner and ordered a lobster to share and The Rodeo, billed as "the whole shebang". It is true...the dinner fed 4 of us and we had a full to go plate when we left. All the BBQ was great - tender, juicy and tasty. The restaurant is relaxed and laid back...perfect for our group. We'd definitely recommend a stop here.
We had the naked lobster roll and the brisket and sausage sandwich. They were both very good. I also had the homemade potato salad which was also very good. Staff very friendly and the outside tables are pet friendly. Blueberry beer was awesome! It had blueberries in it.
Absolutely legit. Stopped by on a trip back from Southwest Harbor and they don’t disappoint. Great beer and one hell of a pit master. The ribs were fall off the bone amazing along with a smokiness that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
Classic lobster pit, wonderful nostalgic sea worthy feel to the place. I've ordered take out and sit down and both were very quick. Staff seem very happy and it shows in their food. I have been to many lobster places in Maine and if your planning for a lobster roll- order the naked lobster roll with extra butter on the side. It's literally the best one I've found.
