El Agave's Mexican Restaurant

Amazing food! I am so impressed! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the staff is very friendly and the food was the best Mexican food I have ever had! Here in Maine finding good Mexican food can be tricky, but this place is killin' it! The chicken nachos were seriously the best nachos I have ever had. I will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

Went there two times in a week with two different groups. First time was with a buddy and we sat at the bar, bartender was excellent, food was excellent, Great prices. Second time I went with a family, sat table side. Food is still excellent, service was a lot different. I don't think I had the same server come back to my table ever, Saw six different people. That being said the last four were all when I had to go up and ask for the check after waiting for a long time after getting our food. Never got a drink refilled, we're going to order some more stuff but just never got the opportunity. I would have had a second margarita which was very good, but I couldn't order the second one. Wasn't sure who the tip was going to. As soon as I get that service down tight it'll be a great time.

Excellent Mexican Restaurant! Best one by far in Maine. My Wife had the shrimp fajitas and absolutely loved them. I had the beef chimichangas and the beef was very tender. Very friendly staff. Being from the West coast of California, This is the closest most authentic Mexican restaurant I've ever been to on the East Coast.

I'm from Texas and this restaurant is the closest I've had to being at a restaurant back home. The food was good, not overly spicy so my wife was able to enjoy it. The staff does their job quietly and efficiently, do no expect to be chatted up about this 'special' or that drink. Food is very affordable like most Mexican restaurants.

My new favorite place. I hope I can enjoy it for a long time coming.
