This place is the absolute best. It's a hidden gem on outskirts of Maine's capital city of Augusta. Easily spotted from the road, it's a barn red building. Decent parking, but usually busy, with good reason. Huge portions of crispy deep fried goodness. Dine in, or outside or take it to go. Never disappointed with the service or the quality of food. Everyone is friendly and clearly proud to work there. Excellent assortment of seafood and chicken too. Make sure to come hungry, but still expect to bring some leftovers home. Once you've tried it, your mouth will water at the mention of it. It really is that good.

We were sightseeing in the area and stopped here to eat. The food was good and plentiful. They are very dog friendly and have a dog water station. My dog got a free doggy ice cream topped with little dog treats. If I were ever back in the area I would definitely eat here again

Definitely not stingy with their seafood! Ordered a basket of fried clam strips and fried lobster claw, it tasted amazing! Served on a bed of classic wavy fries. The breading is not overly greasy, and the lobster chunks were massive! Bigger than I was expecting, since I get ripped off regularly from plenty of other seafood stands down in NH.
I'm sure their other food is good too! ????

Food was decent I guess. Not horrible to worth a stop. Nice place to have a large party as there is plenty of seating and a decent amount of parking. Dog friendly as I saw people at outside tables with their dogs. Probably won't go back but like I said not horrible and not special

The era of a great road side stop still exists in this classic. Clean in and out, great staff with super attitudes. The food is delicious with melt in your mouth fish or fresh french fries. Good menu variety combined with fast service. No way to be disappointed here. Make it your stop.
