Frye House

Nice little place, with great reasonably priced food! If your looking for a quick lunch or maybe an easy dinner, I'd definitely recommend the Frye House!

First timer. Best fried food I have had in a long time! Not greasy at all - how do they do that? Great selection - I've got to try them all! Order at the counter and they bring your food to your table very quickly - and nice people too! You gotta go there is you are looking for some quality fried foods!

The whole regular menu is awesome, but be sure to look at the Specials Board. Always something creative, awesome and inexpensive. How is it that a fried seafood place has some of the best tacos in Maine? No kidding. Also, the Frye House is super clean, family run, and the owner is almost always present. Altogether, a very great place.

Food was fantastic. Not over cooked. Not greasy. Will go there again when in Augusta.

Absolutely my favorite place for fried foods. I tried the Veggie plate today and it was amazing. Staff is really friendly and the prices are a bit higher than most but the food is better.
