    Pete's Roast Beef is an awesome place to chow...Their signature sandwiches can't be matched (make sure it's topped with their own sauce), and horseradish...

    Their fries are crispy and hot, their onion rings are hand-cut, handbreaded and both are cooked to perfection...

    The wings are good, but a bit lacking in size, though they are hand-tossed and cooked spot on...

    Listen: drive, ride, walk or waddle to Winthrop and set your lips on beef heaven (can I get an "amen!")...Like how I did that? But there is fare for those kin to the sea, see...Whatever you do, don't pass up Pete's...Unless you love tofu - then this ain't for you, brothers and sisters...

    Now, if y'all will excuse me, I gotta get me some Pete's!

    Love this little place! Huge roast beef sandwiches and amazing onion rings. The owner and cooks are super nice, and the "tip jar" goes to support Winthrop schools.
