Overall very good. Found this spot while walking around and saw it got good reviews. I agree with most of them. Service was great. Atmosphere was excellent. Food was 4/5. It was very good just not amazing. I think the mussel appetizer was the best dish we had (also had the spring rolls, tagliatelle and scallops). Nice change from the more traditional lobster houses and shacks in the area.
The food is very good but does not reach the high bar set by Brian Hill, chef/owner of Francine's.
Wonderful atmosphere and really tasty food! Beautiful presentations of dishes and a nice selection of drinks. I had a great time with a party of 4. I had the ribs and slaw and very much enjoyed it!
We were heartbroken when Francine closed & when this opened we were nervous. How silly--this place is fantastic, represents why MidCoast Maine is so special. Delicious, thoughtful menu. Great staff. Great for romantic dinners or festive groups. We really hope this new place is doing well!
Delightful atmosphere. Very nice wait staff. Reasonably priced good food. Nice wine list and drink specials. Balsamic calamari lacked salt, but were still good. Special didn't arrive as described exactly but was okay. Outside dining available. Street parking. Short walk to downtown.
