Peter Ott's on the Water

Pretty good Haddock Sandwich and fries.
The star of my meal was the Lobster Chowder. It was full of corn, potatoes, hearty flavor, and good-sized chunks of lobster. 5 stars for the chowder!
The view was excellent and the service was fine.

We were passing through Camden on a trip down the coast and decided to stop for lunch. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience at Peter Ott’s. We were seated right away outside with a lovely view of the water. Both the hostess and our server were very friendly. Our server answered any questions we had about the menu and helped us select some great local beers by offering some sample tastings. My husband ordered oysters on the half shell and the lobster blt sandwich - all fresh and delicious. What pleased him most was that the French fries with his sandwich were almost too hot to eat! I ordered the fried haddock sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fish was a generous portion and perfectly cooked. The fries, also piping hot, were the best I’ve ever eaten. All in all, delicious, well-prepared food, excellent service, and a great location! Wish we could go back!

Another fine choice indeed, to see. I truly enjoyed stopping here for a beer and glad I did! The bartender was kind and friendly and helpful too. She greeted me as I approached while also making eye contact as she approached me. I asked her what they offered on tap and she took the time to interact with what my beer interest was, then offered a suggestion. I took her up on her recommendations and happy I did. Thank you for a great experience and I will be sure to come back do to your outstanding service.

Beautiful view. Reasonably priced. Delicious seafood. I had salmon and my husband had lobster Alfredo. Both were delicious. Excellent wait staff. Both inside and outside dining. We decided to eat inside by the window to avoid a wait for outside dining.
