Good food. Burger was excellent and juicy. Salad was a bit overpriced. Friendly service.
An improvement from the old Harbor Gawker, which was an unreasonably expensive version of The Sand Bar. A little pricey but worth it for the most part. The pork bun variant was a standout surprise with the pickles perfectly balancing the fattiness. Dessert portion size, as shown in the picture, was much bigger than I expected.
Excellent food, extremely slow service
The Nightingale catered my daughter's wedding last night. The were so accommodating and wonderful. The food was amazing. They even did delicious vegan food. The wild Maine blueberry pies were so wonderful. I highly recommend their lobster dinners!
I love this place! The menu is solid, with upscale sandwiches and burgers ($12-$15), a few salads, and some classics. I particularly like the lamb burger. They serve excellent craft beers ($8), and always have a selection from North Haven Brewing Co. There is a full bar in addition to beer and wine. Friendly and capable service.
It is bright space, remodeled before opening in 2018. There is seating along a long bar, plenty of tables, and a few booths.
I appreciate the transformation of the space and the menu from the earlier restaurant that had occupied the space for years before The Nightengale opened last year. I also appreciate that it is open for lunch and dinner, 6 days a week (closed Wednesdays, except for July 3rd, 2019).
