Clam chowder was tasty but runny. Bar service was excellent but host was less than friendly (owner?). Very cute place. May deserve a second chance.
The Blueberry Humus dip that came w/ raw veggies and fresh deep fried tortilla chip is a great appetizer. Of course the Damariscotta river Oysters are a must, so sweet n salty! I had the Steak n Ale pie, so good.
Nice, cozy setting. We stopped here for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. The best part was definitely the blackened fish sandwich, generously sized, fresh, and tasty. The pastrami sandwich was only okay. Friendly and fast service.
We just had a quick visit but it was awesome. Went down to the nicely cooled bar and had some chowder and oysters. Only problem was we ordered too many oysters not knowing how huge they were. Bartender was super nice and friendly and give us some good conversations.
My husband and I had a beautiful experience celebrating our seventeenth anniversary. The crab cakes and mussels are great. The sauteed haddock fish and chips delicious and the seafood pot pie yum. Definitely get the cupcake to finish it up. Excellent service.
