The Buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese was very good however the rest of the meal left something to be desired. Our salt and vinegar chicken wings were lacking any flavor and the Monte Cristo sandwich was too doughy and greasy. However the other food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious so we will definitely go back and give it another try hopefully we won't regret it
Went yesterday for lunch and had the Steak 'n Cheese sandwich. It was absolutely delicious, especially with that Texas toast. And plentiful. I sat at a table which had a view of Congress St, which I requested.
Besides the food, it is worth going just to meet Jason, the owner. His friendliness adds to the good experience.
The food and beer selection is awesome. Staff is extremely friendly. I would highly recommend trying Chamberlain's. You will not be disappointed
Had a wonderful meal and drinks this afternoon , and a nice chat with the owner. My Monte Cristo was outstanding, my husband's fish sandwich very good with the exception of the batter which was too thick and undercooked on the inside. Waitress Tessa perfectly attentive but not overbearing. All in all, a very happy experience. We shall return soon! I suggest everyone in town stop in.
This town has been in desperate need of a restaurant that isn't a diner or pizza place. I came in hoping Chamberlain's would fill the hole left when Brian's headed to Bethel. The place looks real nice and is clearly family run. I had chili, which was very good (but a little too salty) and a fried chicken sandwich on a biscuit with sausage gravy and provolone. It was delicious. Hand cut fries and a biscuit smothered in gravy and chicken. The prices were very reasonable. My only concern is that the menu was pretty small. There is a full bar and a friendly staff.
