I visited The Tarratine for my birthday last month, and it was a fantastic experience! I was lucky enough to visit when the whole building was open, and I got a tour from the hostess. It’s beautiful, and the service is exceptional. Kami was my server, and she was delightful and knowledgeable about both the food and the history of the club. The filet and crab cakes were both phenomenal, and I look forward to my next visit!

We have always enjoyed the times we've visited this lovely restaurant and event space. Housed in a vintage, three-story home, every space feels cozy and inviting. Guests can enjoy a sunset drink on the rooftop deck that overlooks the city of Bangor, enjoy a tasty meal in one of the well appointed dining areas, then sink into a comfy chair by a fireplace to munch a bit of dessert. The owners are most welcoming and gracious, and will make you feel glad you came!

Beautiful place, super nice bar, great rooftop view and fantastic food. Went there as part of a big birthday party.

The atmosphere is great, love the refined vibe. The drinks were good and fairly priced. The food that was catered to the event I attended was very pleasing on the palette. Wait staff was kind and even patient when my daughter accidentally spilled her drink on the floor, the waitress assured her it was ok and people make mistakes. That really caught my attention and made my experience more pleasant.

The Tarratine has been revived into a fabulous venue for that extra special evening out or as a locale for private functions. The staff was extraordinary with their service and friendliness. The food was first rate. The building is a former private club. The old time private standards have been maintained and served up for folks who may not have been around in the club's original existence. The club is open on a limited basis so check before going. But when you go, you will not be anything other than pleased and satisfied.
