Mixed feelings about this place! The pizzats were fine, but the open kitchen caused everything to be moist and smelly. My jacket still smells, ew! Also, I wanted to order a milkshake but the waitress didn't stop by or notice me for ages (she was nice otherwise). There were barely any customers and most of the employees were chatting at the bar. History of the place is nice, and the interior looked nice.
The food is top notch. Coming from the parent store I would expect nothing less. The service was great.
We visit Pat's Pizza regularly. We were just there this past weekend with family from CT, who used to live in Orono, the home of the original Pat's Pizza. It's nostalgic for us growing up with this iconic restaurant run by the same family, the Farnsworth. Now, for the food. Pizza is great, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention their other items, like subs, sandwiches and homemade haddock chowder on Fridays.
Everything ordered was amazing. Hot and fresh cooked to order. Made our last meal with our daughter before heading home and leaving her to her college life more bearable.
Besides having some of the best pizza in the area.
We had a group of 29 use their side room for large groups. They tolerated our celebration (loud noise), kept all our orders organized, the appetizers came before the meal, the drinks were good, and the food came out very fast (they had us pluses a full restaurant).
I had a great time, with great food, and the owner personally came over and joked with us.
I will be going back.
