Bear Point Marina, Cabins, Campground and Restaurant

Nice campground.. very clean.. people that run it are nice and helpful. They also have a restaurant.

This is our second year at Bear Point. They treat everyone like family. We love it there and will definitely be back again next year!!

This is a Fantastic campground / cabin rental business. The owner is very friendly & helpful. This is an exceptional "get-away" for those that love the North Maine Woods. Very quiet, very nice where nature puts you asleep. We stayed 9 days and loved every minute. Pay no attention to the negative reviews, They may have needed a "city atmosphere". The residents up here are very hard working and very honest. I have lived in Maine my entire 62 years, and know this state very well. Plenty of stores in Dover-Foxcroft not far away, & many other towns & settlements in the area too. We explored the ATV trails, mountains, hiking trails, boating, fishing, a brewery,, and also relaxed listening to the loons & sounds of nature. You won't be disappointed looking for nature & relaxation here.

Rented the small cabin for Labor Day Weekend. We were looking for some quiet time and access to the ATV trails. When we arrived, we found overall that the campground was in poor repair. The deck furniture at the cabin needed replacing. However, the food at the restaurant was good, and the staff was friendly, and the inside of the cabin was okay, so initially we were willing to overlook some of the deficiencies. Then… the music started. When we reserved the cabin, were were told that there would be a corn hole tournament, with a DJ “for a couple of hours.” Come to find out, the DJ was there from 3:00 to 9:00. The music, plus the number of loud people present, was not for us. We decided to leave, and they were kind enough to give us a refund. We will be willing to try again when things are quieter. They are nice people. We just prefer… quiet. We are a bit cranky:-)

We rented the cabin. It’s not the Marriott but a small, quiet /clean out of the way place for a getaway. No Verizon phone signal but great free WiFi. For people that like to camp. We didn’t eat at the restaurant as we were visiting family and used as a base camp. Susan was always very kind and helpful. Right on Sebec Lake if you want to bring your boats/jet skis. Our dog was also welcomed with open arms.
