Went to PL&W while visiting family in the area. From the moment we walked in we knew this was a very nice place. Greeted warmly like visiting a friend’s house. The back yard was so nice and well decorated. Then the food came…. And it was AMAZING! we ordered a variety of different things due to the number in our party and enjoyed all the dishes. The variety they had made it easy for adults and kids to enjoy something and the bacon…. Well maple bacon is “off the hook” as the kids say. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend making a stop here to enjoy some of the goodness they are cooking up.

AMAZING! We had such a great time today at PL&W. The food was 12/10 wonderful and tasty. I especially enjoyed the cornmeal waffles that come with the Chicken&Waffles and the Chicken Pot Pie Waffles; who knew it would be so tasty!
The owner and his family were incredibly nice and accommodating; they served us even though we showed up 30min before closing, so we appreciated that a lot.
The atmosphere of the place is also excellent; it really felt like a cozy cabin home.
Stop by for breakfast or bunch if you get the chance, I bet you'll enjoy it as much as we did!

A must stop if you are anywhere near Dover Foxcroft! The food is delicious...made very thoughtfully and with care. They definitely used fresh ingredients. Get the red hash! We left feeling satiated, not too full as you might expect with waffles. They have items that would be good for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack. Beautiful spot, too! Nice garden and views. The people who own it are friendly and easy-going!

I can't say enough about how good the food was, how nice the staff was, and how reasonable everything was! My daughter and I arrived at 7:30 and had the place to ourselves to start with, but it wasn't long before a continuous stream of people started coming in. Once we got our food, I understood why! The waffles were delicious, as well as beautiful. My daughter had the Black Forest waffle and I had the Scramble. My daughter, who usually eats very little, polished off the whole waffle! We got to play games while we waited and it ended up being the best bonding experience we've had in a while. Her direct quote was, "Except for Paris, that is the best breakfast in the world!" I'm not sure what Paris has to do with it, but she obviously loved it. We will absolutely be back soon!

Well worth the Drive!!! The drive there from Bangor is so scenic. The restaurant inside is fulled with very cool decor and it has a little gift shop. The menu was big and has something for everyone. They have beautiful outdoor seating and a beautiful inside dining area. The food was so unique, absolutely delicious and the vegetables were so fresh! I could believe how reasonable the prices were. I’m a huge fan and am going back. I can’t was to try all the items on the menu!!!
