Kennebec Tavern Restaurant & Marina

It's right on the water and there was a lively crowd. However, it was a little pricey and was confused as to whether they striving for upscale or casual. At first glance you're thinking upscale, then your scallops are served in some sort of bucket. They scallops were served on top of the fries and I was not overwhelmed with the portions or the quality as the were a little chewy.

I've been coming here for years, mostly because it's a great place hang outside. But this most recent visit, the food was fantastic. I had the Tofu Etouffee, which was amazing. Highly recommend.

Great location by the water. Clearly a popular local hang out. Very busy on a Sunday night. We only had drinks here so I cant speak to the food. But it seems like a long standing traditional seafood house business.

Wonderful service. Beautiful location. The calamari was different then normal, not as good. Roots, shoots and fruit salad was delicious. Small portion for fish and chips. Brownie Sunday was amazing as always.
