Montsweag Farm Restaurant

So loud. We went here on a Thursday evening late August. We were greated right away with a friendly face. The building is very cool. The chairs are uncomfortable as the back rest tends to cut into your lower back. The beer choices were good enough. The dining room was just so loud. We really wanted somewhere quieter to have a nice meal. I ordered steak medium rare and it was definitely rare. My wife had soup and salad. The soup was great and the salad was huge. I don't think we would return here. Just wasn't our style.

Wonderful food! I'm from the south and the fried chicken is the bomb! Clam chowder was best in the area. But the bartender Jillian was flipping awesome!

This is a wonderful restaurant with great service. Appealing atmosphere and decor. For lunch, we had the Greek flatbread which was crispy with generous and fresh toppings. This was so good I know I will order it again and no doubt miss out on other tasty choices. There are two distinct dining areas. We chose the main dining room with lovely windows, a garden view and twinkling lighted trees in the dining room - so pretty.

First time visit. Warmly welcomed by hostess and wait staff on a busy Friday night in August. Food was excellent and of generous portions. Acoustics need fine tuning as the roar of conversation and live music competed and increased. Call for reservation to avoid wait, but very much worth the wait!

Honestly, we had passed by the restaurant for years, never having time to stop in. I had heard that they have good food and music.
The outside appearance is a bit deceiving. You would think it was maybe going to be dark and "old". Now I am sad that I never stopped in sooner! Very friendly staff, as soon as we walked in, everyone we passed by on the way to our table, smiled and said hello. Great, clean dining area with nice decor. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Margaritas were tasty. We(2 adults, 1 teen) all had meals that we really liked and would get again! We will be back to try some other dishes that we saw on the menu! Yummy food, great staff, nice atmosphere, Thank You!
