Best fried haddock I've ever eaten. The batter is amazing! Great portions. The house salad is fresh and larger than expected. Wonderful customer service and very friendly. Five plus stars for sure!!

Great food and great people. A pleasurable experience every time I've gone there!

Wonderful lunch on a Thursday, sitting on the deck by the river. Service was warm, friendly and efficient and the food was outstanding! The salad was a simple combination of cucumber and tomato with a tasty vinaigrette dressing and a dusting of parmesan.The steak tips were tender and perfectly seasoned, and came with house-cut fries that were crispy yet tender with just the right amount of sea salt. The beer menu could use a nice IPA, but that's a tiny nitpick. For dessert, chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies were a delightful end to a fine meal.

Anson may be a little off the beaten path, but Pickett's is an excellent reason to visit!

Have eaten here twice, both times outside. First time I was by myself, had haddock feature and wine and enjoyed the river view and the railroad trestle reflecting in the still water, plus the ospreys were active-nest is on top of trestle, a perfect evening! Second time was with a group of first time diners, we tried the cheese curds and chicken wings and had entrees-everyone LOVED their food. April & John are doing a terrific job-if you haven’t been you should give them a try!

Great food. Had the best Cuban sandwich EVER. Love the atmosphere and down home friendliness. Wonderful place!!!!

Food excellent, keep the cook happy. Service excellent. Our second time here. The first time we sat inside and I would rate our experience as a 5. Today we sat outside. We were not impressed.. uncomfortable seating, the ground slopes and so do the chairs, cat roamed the yard , don't like the thought of a cat walking on my dining table. Tables made of rustic rough wood, not so good for cleaning. Also a lot of kitchen noise.
