Nook & Cranny Restaurant

Steve, the owner, met us with a friendly smile and promises of a great meal! He and the staff did not disappoint. The chowders were excellent and the fried clams full and plentiful. The hidden gem of the meal? The coleslaw! Wow. Awesome stop in the middle of nowhere on State Rte. 9. Do not pass it by.

The seafood chowder is to die for!!!! Steve is an amazing cook. Also had the fried scallops. Again, amazing!

Amanda was great!!.. her food recommendations were exactly what we wanted. She kept us totally well served! Great food too! It seemed every customer felt like family and was just a fun meal all made better with Amanda's friendly attitude!

Never a bad meal. Always a good time. One time I went and the owner/chef overheard me say I wish they had their sautéed muscles (they are sometimes on the specials menu and weren't thus time) he came right over and said he could make them for me and ask if I would want him to. That was definitely awesome and they were ssssooooo good thank you!

Traveled from New Jersey and heard about this little spot. Best place so far to get fresh seafood, fried appetizers, burgers etc! The host/ waitress was very busy but we didn’t mind because of her good attitude. Everything was perfectly cooked. If I ever come back to Maine I will definitely stop by again.
