“Beautiful place to enjoy coffee or lunch! They have a market with great treats and gifts. I was admiring the view while I ordered coffee and dessert to go. The drinks were delicious and pretty. The only issue was asking the pot de creme dessert to go. When I received the dessert, it appeared to be scooped out and missing its garnish. Still tasty! UPDATE: My family and I stopped here for brunch. Highly recommend their harvest salad, the crispy fried haddock, and their artichoke dip. It's definitely a place to keep on your places to visit as the quality, price, atmosphere, and service are exceptional compared to everywhere else I've been.”

“Went in at lunch time. Not busy, thankfully. Menu was hard to choose from because everything had a "spin" to it. Ordered the fried pickles and the slaw and bean hot dog. Picture below. Also ordered there signature brand by themselves. Very good food. Hot dog was smokey tasting and buns were moist. Burgers were very filling. Wife had a land and sea burger...basically a hamburger with lobster. Very unique as I said. Pickles came with a spicy but not to spicy sauce. All in all a good meal. Would recommend”

“Was here for a week on storm duty during a statewide power outage for a tree company, absolutely phenomenal food and service. From the cooks to the waitresses , I couldn't believe what this place has done for all the line and tree crews keeping them fed. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The food is top notch wow”

“Great Food, Service, Views, and Souvenirs! The lobster mac and cheese was AMAZING!!!! Everyone was extremely friendly. The gentleman working in the back with the lobsters was very informative and great in showing us the lobsters and even showed us one that had shed since it had been caught. Also, I loved their selections of souvenirs. We bought almost all of our souvenirs from there. Definitely stop by and check it out!!!!”

“Liberty Kitchen is all American! Red, white and blue are the colors of liberty. I had the mozzarella sticks, which was a huge serving. They were perfectly cooked on the inside and golden crispy brown on the outside. My partner in crime had a salad and we were both surprised at the size, that salad took over the entire plate. Liberty Kitchen is accessible off the Sunrise Trail as well as off Centerville rd. In Columbia Falls.”

“I LOVE their pizza! They have a perfect blend of cheeses and more importantly they have the "tried and true" and some toppings new! We have pizza night on Thursdays, and they were so accommodating they added Cherries to their menu per our request. We average 6 pizzas on Thursday and are never disappointed though if I was to make one suggestion, replace the ham pellets with bigger pieces (always rather pay a little extra for quality & quantity). Great pizza here!”

“I was staying at Cobscook Bay and stumbled across this place. It was definitely worth the stop. If you are expecting fast service, don't stop. They have one cook that is hustling in the kitchen and making some good food! I would recommend the blueberry pancakes. They were cooked well and tasted great. Everyone in my family loved their meals. We will definitely be eating here on the way out of town.”

“I tend to go to Irving's as they rarely run out of tape in the pump, but at times I use shell. I rated a 4 due to running out of tape at the pump and having to enter the store.”

“It is a pretty good place to get crab and lobster rolls. Not my favorite in the State, but very good. Super fresh and tasty. Cole slaw meh not very good. But who goes there for the Cole slaw”

“Strange experience here. It’s possible that they have the best Italian food in Maine, but I’ll never know; we left because the woman behind the counter refused to give us what we asked for. It would be great to try their food with more accommodating service. My friend politely asked for lighter cheese on one half of a pizza because she has lactose issues. The lady behind the counter flat-out refused more than once, saying “cheese or no cheese, that’s how I make ‘em,” with this energy like we had asked for the moon and the stars and she was putting her foot down, ready to die on that hill. I have never encountered so much resistance to such an easy request. I have worked at two pizza places, and this is not a big ask; in fact, I have never heard of anyone objecting to it. Maybe this woman had just had a tough day, but why hurt the business over it? Whoever gets a bad experience tells other people. If there are other staff who are friendlier and more helpful, and the food is as good as it looks in the photos, then it’s a shame that one staff member is driving away business from a place, when other staff members might be going above and beyond.”

“Best lobster roll I've had on this trip!! Such a great spin on the traditional lobster roll, it really took the flavor to the next level. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. Love getting lucky with a find like this where they do an amazing job and really care about what they are doing. Lots of love went into these dishes. Definitely recommend!!”

“Decided to make our way up to Eastport before leaving the Maine coast and found Horn Run Brewing. Very good small menu with a variety of styles across the board that were clean, and well done. Excellent friendly service and absolutely loved the great outdoor seating! Very nice destination brewery, cheers!!”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We are visiting from out of state and chose this diner because it looked like the food was good and honestly was one of the few places open. It did not disappoint! The waitress was really sweet and even gave suggestions on places to explore. The French toast was amazing and if you’re looking for a small town restaurant with a home feel, this is is. I’d love to return if ever in the area again.”

“The food was great. We ordered the lobster bake and it was enough for two persons without the fries. I didn't give it 5 stars because it took a while for our food to arrive. We watched one group leave because of the slow food service. The servers were great at keeping our drinks filled.”

“We stopped in here for dinner last night with a bunch of family. We ordered fish and chips nachos and mac & cheese. The waitress was very friendly and helpful always made sure that our classes were full. This is not the fanciest place in the world but it is not too bad worth stopping to”

“Great restaurant, gorgeous views from the deck, and glorious staff. Lubec has so much to offer and this place is one you shouldn’t miss. One of the best lobster rolls I had in Downeast Maine. Very generous portions and extremely fair prices. The kids will enjoy too.”

“I stopped by late summer while on a get-away trip. The staff was great! Attentive and engaged in conversation. I felt they were super knowledgeable in their product and Lubec itself. We intended to stop for one beer but sat in their cute beer garden for what seemed like hours. The beer garden was so tranquil. Will be back!”

“Had a great dinner. Diverse menu. The Haddock was grilled nicely, don't recommend the crabcake, too much cake, all else was very good! Breakfast was excellent and the coffee hot and strong just the way I like it.”

“We made several purchases over the two weeks we visited Lubec! Great lobster, fresh haddock, fish & chips and hot sandwiches! They have it all. Staff was super friendly too. They can get swamped with orders, so be sure to be patient if visiting during prime time and you'll be rewarded with quality food!”

“We went to the Dragonfly the night of my birthday and to be quite honest, it was probably one of the most unique birthday experiences. We were in town overnight to see the sunrise at West Quoddy Head. The Dragonfly was the only real place we found for food and drinks. We are not from the city and still appreciated the back-woods vibe. We went on a night with live music which while not very good was entertaining and had us laughing. The bar and waitstaff were very attentive and kept the drinks coming. The decor was cute and the bathrooms clean. What else can you expect in small town Maine? If we are ever in Lubec again, we will re-visit the Dragonfly for sure.”
