The Holy Donut

Head to the shack in back not the big building on premises to get this famous Maine donut. Potato donuts are denser and fantastic. There are no bad flavors, however the chocolate sea salt, the lemon, and cinnamon sugar are my go to donuts. The only drawback of this location is a lack of seating, and there is no covered seating. So being able to sit down and have a donut here is weather dependent (unlike the one in Portland). Regardless, these donuts are delicious and a must try.

Stopped here en route to Portland, and WOWZA! What awesome doughnuts indeed! Holy smokes! Wicked light batter that was crispy and delightful, could it be that potato they're adding! The donut itself was delightfully well balanced and the glazes (honey lavender and fresh lemon) added just the right amount of sweet. The flavors are rotating and seasonal which is also great and the full of actual authentic tastes. Loved that they have gluten free and vegan options as well, only upping their approachability. Wish I had gotten to try a filled one, but suppose that leaves me something to look forward to next time!

Sure they will do well with city and Rte. 1 tourist folks used to those prices - $24.50 for 4 premium donuts and 2 Lg plain no name coffees before my tip to the nice fellow at the window. Tasty, but not for me at that price. Wish them the best though. Great design/decorating, etc.

Awesome old fashioned New England donuts. They remind me of the ones my neighbor made every Halloween in my 1980's rural Maine childhood. Great coffee too. Love that this place has a drive through!

The Maple Bacon donut was like breakfast in my mouth! We bought an assorted dozen, and they were all delicious! So glad you are in Arundel now too!
