Food is decent ordered some chicken tenders though and they got served in a weird ceramic boat looking thing. Next time ill ask for a plate, but it would be nice if stuff just came on plates..... Sweet potato fires came in a bowl again plates just a simple plate folks no need to reinvent the wheel.
Great restaurant with nice views of the water. Food was good and portions were generous. They have gluten free and vegan options which is awesome when traveling. It can be difficult determining whether or not there is anything "safe" to eat at restaurants we've never been to before. Additionally, they offer brewery tours, followed by a beer tasting. Tour is about 10 minutes.
The staff are all very nice. The food was spotty. The fish and chips was historically a filet, now it's chunks and seems to have lost a little flavor in the batter. The hamburger was great and the hand cut fries are amazing! The blackened haddock tacos were terrible though. Way too much coleslaw, it was all you could taste.
It’s a great location on the water. It was a bit of a wait since it’s so popular. Our waitress Carrie was awesome!! The crab bisque was amazing with so much crab! The tuna sashimi was very good. The lobster roll was wonderful, but I had to sacrifice my wheat allergy to have the gluten roll because the gluten free roll was a hamburger bun which I never expected. And there were only a few small, thin pieces of lobster. Carrie saw this as I was looking at it and she took it back right away and had them re-do it. Some others at the table weren’t thrilled as their soup, crab roll and fries were cold. All in all it was good and Carrie made it even better!!
When ever your in the are you have to stop by. The atmosphere is great as is the food. But the "Maine" attraction is the beer. It is so good I had to buy some to bring home. So do your self a favor and stop buy when your around there. You won't be disappointed.
