Pearl Kennebunk & Spat Oyster Cellar

Understaffed unfortunately but great wait staff trying to keep up. Lobster roles had far too much mayonnaise and no one took more than one bite that ordered the lobster rolls. The rest of the food was good overall. The bathroom for the men's at least stunk horribly of urine at the time but when we got there the restaurant was almost empty. Even later on the dining room was about 1/2 full on a Saturday night.

Great restaurant in a cheerful, expansive space serving old and new Maine classics. Food is excellent, service is superb. Lobster stew, burger, lobster roll, fried oysters, Hemingway daiquiri, butterscotch parfait. All outstanding.

I love their 'relaxed fine dining' concept. Nice airy modern space with good wines and fresh seafood. Really friendly staff.

Nice space. Good service. The bouillabaise was simple but spot on. The halibut was excellent. Out of a few of the drinks we ordered. But otherwise very good.

5 of 6 shared a dozen oysters to start. All said they were every good. Mussels steamed shared again. The liquid was stopped up by excellent bread. Large shrimp in cocktail were good. 2 had bouillabaisse. 2 halibut. 1 chicken pan fried. Enough of chicken for 4 people. Cocktails were served in small glasses. I would have liked better presentation..
