Papous Pita

Great place for lunch. Delicious rice and tzatziki sauce and very friendly hosts/staff. Even was offered a free berry yogurt dessert!

The gentleman working at this restaurant was incredibly welcoming and kind. After my sister’s and I were eating and chatting for a while he came out and offered free samples of his Greek yogurt which was really nice of him (and delicious!). Interior is designed with white and blue shades that remind me of Mykonos, and most importantly the food is INCREDIBLE. I’m very impressed and I’m definitely going back. Highly recommend the Papous Chicken Pita!

Excellent pita place hidden in Kennebunkport. This location has seen a chowder shop and pizza place over the years! I was happy to see a place move in that offers a departure from the typical ocean side fare found in these small towns. The food was great and the owner was really nice as well! He offers three main options with different varieties on those options. He offers a pita, rice bowl, and salad. I got the chicken pita and my wife got the feta rice bowl. Both were amazing. His pita as a side is also worth getting.

Hands down best sandwich I've gotten in the port. Absolutely delicious; everything is so fresh and the flavors are amazing. Don't pass this place by. I know that I will be a frequent customer.
