Springvale Publick House

First time there, and we were not disappointed. We both had the same meal, shepherd's pie, and it was really good, and gluten free - a bonus for my wife. The service was top notch. My only criticism is that the pie was a little salty, but other than that, we had a great time and brought home chocolate cream pie to have later!

Great family style pub. Nice local brews. Some of the best homemade food in the area. Simple and delicious. Always consistent with the orders. Love the onion pedals with the special sauce ????

Very friendly & cordial staff/bartenders AND Patrons. That's saying a lot and a huge compliment coming from a person that is usually confined to home due to severe lyme disease. It was the first time i ventured out to a public place in the 2 1/2 yrs of living here. But, it's time i overcome my anxiety & meet people that live in this community! And, also considering the few communities & different County I have spent most of my teen/ adult years in, this is a HUGE Compliment! It's very rare to move to a new community & try to get social and friendly with the long time locals in this state. And, Springvale is a place that 98% of locals make you feel very welcomed in and they are very kind to new comers to the community! And, I'm not used to that! So, i think, when it's physically possible for me to go socialize in the community & meet new people or hear local music or if there's any local karaoke in the area, that used to be one of my biggest hobbies in the other towns/cities I've primarily lived in. And, I would LOVE to find a place that has karaoke nights or even local Maine/NH Music Nights!! But, until then, this is definitely the primary spot i will visit & try to socialize at!!! It blew my mind how welcoming Springvale (Maine) Publick ???? is!!!

Excellent food and service. I had grilled chicken sandwich. Excellent. Large piece of nicely cooked chicken, fresh lettuce, very fresh tomato. Seems simple...but it was fresh and wonderful. Husband had Cajun fish and he really enjoyed it. Listened to a table near us with grandparents and two grandkids...one who was gluten free. The manager (?)spent time with them to help the grandson successfully identify foods to eat. And the manager also checked in with the kitchen on the order. Really great service. For us, service was quick, attentive. Very happy (and full!).

The French dip sandwich was amazing! Easily one of the best I've had. The French onion soup was a little salty but I overlooked it. The beer selection is pretty good too
