Congdon's Doughnuts

We literally drove from Vermont at 3am to arrive and have these donuts for breakfast. They are amazing and always fresh. I can't tell you how great the lightly crisped donut under the glaze, powder, or frosting is EPIC! My family enjoys the Boston creme the best but... Apple fritter was literally the best ratio of apple and doughnut I've ever had.

Every visit to Congdon's exceeds my expectations. The staff are all so kind and accommodating. The food is always great. And I honestly only eat donuts if they are Congdon's. I cannot resist. They are just that good!!!

My family stayed near Congdons during our vacation. Best decision ever! Doughnuts were amazing! The apple fritter was also to die for. Their unique recipe includes cinnamon in the dough. So good! Worth the wait in line.

My previous review was focused on the Trucks and Pups event to kick off the 2019 food truck season. While that was wonderful, every time i visit Congdon's, whether for breakfast, lunch or the food truck park, i have a great experience with outstanding food. I can't say enough about this business. I feel they genuinely care about me, the customer, which is a rarity in our modern age of impersonal, get it now service. Show this business some love and you'll be rewarded tenfold.

We enjoy coming to Congdon's during our annual weekend in Wells (plus other random day trips when we can). The donuts are always so tasty. We enjoyed our breakfast in on Sunday morning. As always, my omelet was delicious. My husband enjoyed his pancake and corn muffin. Monday, family joined us for some treats in the morning before heading off on a trolley ride and fun (although rainy) beach day.
We also enjoyed some Congdon's After Dark Saturday night. Hoped to have family enjoyed it with us Monday night before heading home, but the rain had other plans. Next time.
