We stayed at dockside for two nights for my wife’s birthday. The staff was great very accommodating, We loved the breakfast options, You can tell that the owners in the staff care very much About their guests and property. It was very peaceful which we liked. I also lost my work badge, and the owner called me and he’s mailing it back to me he found it in the parking lot. So I am very thankful to him. We will return at some point, When work allows but next time I’m going to get a kitchenette as I am a chef I want to cook a beautiful seafood dinner! Thank you to everyone at dockside!

Our family of five stayed in two rooms and loved it so much. The most beautiful setting. Watching the scenery change with the tide was so relaxing. Being on the balcony was our favourite part. Lots of birds to observe, including a bald eagle eat its prey on the shoreline. Comfy rooms and beds. Top notch sheets were noted. Lovely staff who wanted our stay to be perfect. We enjoyed meals at the restaurant and the more lively Deck. A magical spot and we will definitely return. As UK visitors, we loved the Maine coastline. A relaxed, informal place to stay and we didn’t want to leave.

Dockside could not be a more perfect setting to mark a special anniversary--in our case, 15 years ago we re-acquainted, fell in love, and got married! The Guest Quarters are beautiful, quiet, clean. Each entrance is separate, so no hallways or interior spaces are shared. The grounds are gracious. The Harbor is right there off your deck! The staff is excellent. The included breakfasts are delicious and carefully no-or little-contact in our pandemic times.

This hotel is a gem. The owners are really friendly and nice, the grounds are beautiful and tranquil. The restaurant food is really great. We went to the Deck at Dockside bar one afternoon, which was lively and fun, again with beautiful views. It was so lovely having breakfast on the main house porch. There is a lot of bird life to watch as well as harbor activity. Bring your binoculars!

Every year our family eagerly anticipates our stay at Dockside. It's the perfect summer retreat for us. It's peaceful, private, has beautiful grounds to tramp about, is walking distance to the harbour beach, is quiet and low-key while still convenient to shopping and activities in the village or nearby towns. The breakfasts are plentiful and the kitchen in our suite perfectly outfitted to make our own meals. We wake up every morning to watch the sun rise with the herons picking their way through the rocky shoreline and the lobster boats heading out to sea, and spend many hours sitting on the deck or in the gazebo to read or play games.
