Union Grill

Excellent... Not your average hotel food!

Just beyond wonderful on every level. The pan seared Haddock is the definition of perfection!

Food was very good but not exceptional in creativity or execution. Tuna poke bowl was great. Star was the cast iron cookie for dessert. Ask for a table by the windows and watch dusk fall over Short Sands Beach.

Fabulous food.. fabulous scenery...great duo playing for brunch. Good service.

At the Union Hotel in York Maine you have a choice of two restaurants, the pub or the union grill. The pub has, as expected, nice sandwiches, burgers, and beers. Enjoy a pub-style lunch or dinner and watch sports on their various screens.

The union grill is a gastronomic experience. The talented chef Darren creates beautiful provincial style dishes-- picture foods from Alsace, Provence, Brittany. The wine selection is varied enough, so as to make proper pairing with your dinner.

Also, there is a bar in the union grill restaurant. Sit there to feel the warmth of the large fireplace and enjoy a meal and drink. Try their infused vodka which changes periodically. Our favorite were the fig infused and blueberry infused vodkas. The bartender, Karen, is excellent and you'll enjoy any drink you order.
