“I love this place! I wanted to shop completely local and had had a wonderful experience shopping from these folks at the Union Farmer's Market so ordered my pecan pie and pumpkin whoopie pies and a baguette! More reviews anon after sampling!!”

“Best convenient store in town! Owners are wonderful people who truly love their community and our country. I also enjoy reading the messages on their sign by the road.”

“Bagels are great and the coffee is delicious! Very affordable. Nothing super fancy about this place but what they lack in options, they make up for in consistency. It's become my Saturday tradition to walk to Locksmith and grab a bagel and coffee!”

“My favorite place for cinnamon rolls and specialty items! I love the variety they have too. But the best part is the owners... they are awesome!”

“Otherwise seemingly nice young ladies there simply should not be working together. They blatantly complain and argue aloud to each other , and have treated me angrily without provocation many times. Especially the one young lady is verbally unhappy to be working there. Signed, Ex-customer. Otherwise, good store.”

“OH. MY. GOD. Go here. Right now. If you like donuts this place will not disappoint. I was skeptical about them being a potato base but man they are delicious! Definitely go early. There weren't a lot of choices when we went because it was late morning. Was hoping to try the sweet potato donut so try it for me!”

“I used to live nearby and my boyfriend and I were both offered credit if it was close to payday and we were short on cash for cigarettes, soda, or what have you. Never asked for it, but when the owner saw us counting change one day said he's write up an IOU and I could come back after I got paid the next day. Continued to do this for us the whole time we lived in the neighborhood.”

“This place is amazing! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. My husband and I agree this is one of the highlights to our trip in St. Augustine. Every cheesecake sample was absolutely delicious. The wine was wonderful too! The prices are very reasonable for the experience. If I could rate it 10 stars I would!”

“I highly recommend this place!!! From the homemade breads and pies, to the pot roast and chicken pot pie, the food is fresh like homemade. I make it a point to stop here whenever I'm passing by. Better than any truck stop food anywhere!!! We just stopped again because it's the best truck stop, and the food is fresh and delicious. We both had the turkey dinner with 2 sides, and cranberry sauce, and it was just like homemade!!! Awesome! I highly recommend stopping here to eat!”

“Best bakery in the region. The food is amazing as are the owners/staff. Their cupcakes, cookies, breakfast goodies (muffins, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches) and other sweets are amazing. Their homemade breads and lunch items are delicious.”

“The best of all the mister bagels... but seriously. The food, the people, a clean space. easy to get to.... and the muffins (drool), cinnamon roll I see you. This place is just what you need on your way to work or heading out on an early road trip. I appreciate a place that is open and ready to go at 6 am with smiling faces. If I had to describe in one word: reliable. Thank you!”

“Really good donuts and baked goods. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. I've tried a few of their soups and they are really good. They also have really good fruit and vegetables. Our family has also picked apples at the orchard for a number of years now and highly recommend their produce.”

“Nice, clean variety store. The owner (?) Was a very nice gentleman who was very accommodating. The calzone was delicious along with the chocolate chip cookie bar. Their whoopie pies are out of this world and not sicky sweet.. perfect!!”

“Fast service here. Bigger then the Portland location. Look like a bigger selection too. There outside seating to enjoy the weather. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would suggest this place over the Portland on.”

“We drove up to Maine for the day and got some assorted donuts to take home. We were so disappointed when we finally opened the box whose heavenly aroma had been filling the car for hours. They were the most amazing donuts I had ever tasted. The strawberry shortcake was dense, yet light and creamy. The monkey bread was like sampling little cinnamon roll morsales. My husband who asked me not to get him anything took a bite and asked when we were going back. We live 3 hours each way ???????? We are still going through withdrawals. So good, reasonably priced, and an eclectic assortment. It is now on our must stop list when heading north.”

“Stopped by for a quick lunch and was delighted to see their menu offered soups that were not chowder or bisque. (Can get a little tired of seafood around here) Had a lovely lamb stew soup with pretzel bread croutons. My husband had a delicious big chunk of bread pudding with maple syrup. Recommend a stopping here for lunch.”

“Overall, everything we had was tasty but some of the pastries are just absurdly priced. We ordered three pastries at a total cost of just under $19 - including an apple tart that was over $9. Probably my fault for not asking before but it really caught me by surprise. No issues with quality - everything was very good, not life-changing though.”

“Stopped by for lunch on our way to the cabins a friend rented for the weekend and was very impressed with our first "taste" of the town of Manchester. Hubby & I opted to share the Barnyard Wrap along with a bowl of the Jerk Chicken Soup and boy am I glad we did. The wraps are as big as burritos and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients- loved the added crunch of the carrots on our wrap and the honey mustard dressing was delicious. The Jerk Chicken Soup was rich, hearty and had just the right amount of heat for this spice loving girl but not too much for my tender tongued hubby and the freshly made whole wheat bread that came with it was very good. We also picked up jars of both dill & bread & butter pickles which perfectly complemented everyone's meal. The only part of the meal I wasn't a big fan of was the homemade chips - too thick and dense for my taste and not at all crispy. Next time we're in the area we will definitely stop in.”

“We spent a week in the area and this was one of the best meals we had. Burgers, fish sandwich and mac a & cheese were all great. Portion sizes were huge and then Marla brought the banana split that was enough for 3 people! Staff was friendly and engaging, place was very clean and items in the bakery looked amazing but we were too full after the meal.”

“I accidentally ordered a drink online for the wrong location and they said they couldn't fix it. I called the other location and they fixed it by giving me a refund on phone and said the original store should have been able to fix error for me.”

“Yum! Awesome baked goods and savory treats, plus good coffee from Carrabassett Coffee. Nice selection of beer & wines. Haven't tried the cheese case, but that selection looks good too.”
