The Manhattan Social

This place was fantastic. A jewel in a town that time seemed to pass by. Driving through, it's easy to see how this area was a booming industrial revolution town. At any rate, the restaurant was amazing. I had a half salad with an amazing dill dressing and the Manhattan Burger. My girlfriend had the salmon and we nibbled on a cheese board.
It was all great. The Moscow Mule was the best I have ever had. And the service was absolutely fantastic!!

The decor itself is quite nice, with a coffee bar, two dining areas, a game room, and a full service bar there is nothing at all lacking in available treats or atmosphere.

I'll definitely be stopping again my next time through.

Located along the beautiful downtown Baltimore Street walk, makes it a great stop for the start or end of your day. The outside dining area is very nice and constantly in the shade due to the buildings on either side. There's room for both couples and larger parties. Speakers playing 50s era music give an old time feel, but the young staff and menu give it a new age vibe. They have menus for brunch, lunch, and dinner. This means they have everything from Belgian waffles to Italian sandwiches to Braised Lamb Shank. We had the club and Italian sandwiches. Both were excellent. The Italian came out warm and the club was cold cut. The chips that came with we're very complementary to the sandwiches. Prices were reasonable for the portions you get. The only reason I gave a 4 was it took a bit before we got asked our drink order. Although they were busy and once we got a waitress service was quick.

What a terrific place. My wife and I had dinner with our mini poodle Marley on the patio. The weather was beautiful and the food and service matched perfectly.

Love it. Exactly what Cumberland needs. Prices, food, and service are great. You can tell that the more progressive members of the community are attracted to the ambiance of this restaurant whose quality and service match a much bigger city. Go for great happy hours and happy patrons!

Best brunch in town! Great omelettes, fantastic chicken and waffles, lots of gluten free options and Bloody Mary's to die for!!! Staff is always friendly and willing to make sure you get what you want. They also have a wonderful lunch and dinner menu everyday as well. Highly recommend this for a great way to start your weekend or to finish out a weekday!
