The food was really good and so was the service. The only thing that I have an issue with is, when a restaurant wraps their potatoes in foil, they should Never cut the potato through the foil. I have found pieces of foil in the potato. I not sure if there was pieces of foil in my potato at this restaurant because they had it buttered. I just didn't eat the middle where it was cut.
I am saying 4 stars only because I didn't order a steak. And since they are a steak house, I didn't want to mislead anyone. I would look forward to trying a steak in the future. I ate at the bar. The service was outstanding. The lady was friendly, witty, and attentive. The French onion soup was very good, it was very hot, and a quality product that arrived quickly. I ordered the turkey breast special with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was very good. I also ordered a side of broccoli and it was steamed perfectly. The best part is that all that I had plus and iced tea made for a bill of a whopping 17 bucks. That is an amazing value in these times and made even more so by the good food and incredible service.
Love this place. My daughter went to school at Frostburg State University and I wish we had found this restaurant sooner. Great food and atmosphere. Staff is attentive and very friendly. We ordered the crab pretzel and fried pickles for our appetizers. They were awesome. My husband enjoyed the dipping sauce for the pickles so much he asked if he could have that on his burger. My daughter's ordered the Texas grilled cheese and loved it. My salad was huge. All around everyone was happy with their meals...
