Panera Bread

Had a GriefShare breakfast get together at Panera Bread (Festival at Riva). As we trickled in each participant placed their order. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast of their choice, good conversation, delicious coffee, great atmosphere. A perfect way to begin a weekend.

A upscale sandwich place. I do think the sandwiches are fantastic. The soups are wonderful, the prices are not too high. We couldn't find a interior place to sit. But I guess that shows but they are rather busy. This is not an expensive place, but I wish they had a better bang for the buck kind of deal. After all, it's just a sandwich and soup.

I had stopped going to Panera Bread for a long time because they did not have vegan soup all the time. I had their 10 vegetable soup and their quinoa Bowl and they were both great. They change their gloves for me because I am a strict vegan and are very careful not to cross contaminate with non vegan foods. Staff is really helpful about figuring out what's vegan. I just wish they had more vegan options.

Normally I would have given a higher rating but I ordered my favorite sandwich which is the Turkey, cheddar cheese and apples on cranberry bread. My number was called but instead of getting my sandwich I was informed that they were out of the cranberry bread. I think I should have been told when I placed my order that they were out of the cranberry bread.

A good Panera. They let you sit all day if you need to. Nobody bothers you. Staff is always cleaning, food is good. I like this place.
