California Pizza Kitchen at Annapolis

Always a great experience here! Good food and drinks. I suggest the avocado egg rolls, regular margarita and warm veggie salad. Tried and true for years! Oh.. and the prices are too good!

If you're looking for a place that will go out of their way to accommodate you then this is the place to go. We recently had a group of about 27. We arrived with no advance notice after having a not so great experience at a place that we had originally reserved. The manager worked with us and had gotten a section to support 12. Hey great we can split up not a problem. Next thing we knew we were all seated and ready with menus.

I ordered a steak salad which is something new. It had excellent flavor and was well worth it.

The staff were very attentive and while you might think that service would be more difficult with a larger party that was not the case at all.

I highly recommend this place.

We come here mostly for lunch. I enjoy the mushroom pepperoni sausage pizza here. The service is consistent and no issues to report there.

Had lunch at this establishment on Saturday, March 2nd at approximately 3:15 to 4:15. Decided to sit at the bar in order to avoid a wait. Bartender John pretty much ignored my group of 3 (female senior citizens) for the first five to seven minutes, though we were sitting directly in front of him. When he did
address us, he took our orders but never gave us any menus. Drinks came, but food never materialized until another patron complained to the manager out of concern on our behalf. Manager was very apologetic to the concerned patron, but manager nor the bartender explained the delay until the food was finally served just prior to our party deciding to forgo eating there. Manager did give us a discount for the extreme delay. While the food proved to be very good, the service took away from the entire dining experience. We could accept a delay in service if our server (the bartender) had merely explained that there was a delay due to a mix up in another customer's order. To just ignore your customers is not an option, and, especially when they are sitting right in front of you while you work getting others their food. Will not be returning. PS - The tip was commiserate with the service provided.

The wait on a Friday or weekend can be ridiculous! 1 hour wait for food? No place is that great. I do enjoy snd appreciate the extensive gluten free pizzas with a variety of crust options....delicious cauliflower or just gluten free. The menu is as refreshingly original, but not stuffy.
