Food was really good. Just plan to be entertained and enjoy your company. I would not bring people I don't want to have long conversations with. Wait staff very entertaining. I suggest bringing 4 people so you can get a 2 pot table so you can try different things!
Where do I even begin? I’ve been here several times, and each and every time has been just as good and amazing as the first time I was here. I’m astounded that they are able to keep up their consistency like this, but somehow they manage it! The food is excellent, but it’s the experience that makes it worth the go. Pricey, but well worth it for the staffing, food, and overall experience at this place.
Edit: Recently, we went there again and did not receive our food for an hour and a half. Disappointed, but we got our meal free, so that was good.
Melting pot is a well known and respected dating restaurant. Romantic lighting and unique dining experience with catering wait staff set a great mood. I always found them a bit pricey but still worth a couple visits for any couple. This time, I went different and took my kids. We were far from the only family, which was very surprising. We were seated in a different area, which seems logical (apart from the romantic two-seater booths), but still nice. Kids had great kids meal choices and the lady and I were at ease with little ones and enjoyed ourselves as well. We went safe with just cheese and chocolate for the kids rather than the much longer dinner course. Little ones just won't last that long. They want to go back, and we just may.
I love this place! I went here with a friend for New Year's Eve. Most places were charging $99 per person, but the Melting Pot was only $67 per person for 5 courses (appetizer, cheese fondue, salad, entree with various meats and vegetables, and chocolate fondue). Of course, drinks are not included. However, instead of a $250+ bill at other places, our bill was around $180, including the tip.
One of my favorite places to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Unique restaurant experience, especially if you go for the four course meal, which includes a choice of a gourmet cheese appetizer course; a choice of salad; seafood, meat, or vegetable entree that you cook yourself with fondue forks in either a flavored broth or hot oil; and a dessert course with choice of different chocolate preparations that you can dip fruit and dessert items into. It's a meal unlike what you will find in any other restaurant.
