I went here with a few of my co workers for lunch. The server, Jess, was great! I had the lunch special which included a salad or soup with an entree. I had the bipartisan soup! Amazing! One of the best soups I’ve ever had. I also tried my co worker’s salad and it too was yummy. The salads and soups was more than portion I expected. The salad picture posted is some of the salad I took off my co workers plate;so yes it was a great sized portion. I chose lobster Mac and cheese for my entree. It was tasty. I want to come here again when it’s warmer outside so I could enjoy the water view.
This restaurant was amazing. Alittle expensive but the food was worth it! Server was awesome! Everything was for my best friends birthday!
Always a favorite. The food is very good and served in a timely manner. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is very nice with a lot of energy. Incredible views and sunsets over the South River in the summer. Request a table next to the window for summertime sunsets. We think Happy Hour is the best deal around. We can get a couple of small plates each for dinner for a very reasonable price.
I can't believe I ate the whole thing
I was here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. So although we didn't order directly from the menu, we were able to observe the staff, the ambience and the food. We had a scrumptious ribeye steak that was so tender, tasty and juicy I can't believe I ate the whole thing. It was accompanied with asparagus and a creamy pile of mashed potatoes. It was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten.
The event was held in the downstairs private hall, and could seat a few hundred people. The room was not well lit and had low ceilings, which wasn't ideal for photos. There was an area to go outside and take a few photos on a dock to capture the surroundings. In the summer I'm sure this would be wonderful as there are many windows surrounding one side of the room.
Food-wise, it is a 5 star restaurant, but the low ceilings and dimly lit rooms were a 4.
Great food, friendly competent wait staff. Great bar staff pouring good drinks. All at reasonable prices. An excellent happy hour too! Go there!
