We pulled up in front of the restaurant around noon on Wednesday, and after looking very closely we still couldn't decide if the place was even open - it was very dark looking inside and the parking lot was fairly empty. We parked anyway and tried the door, and found they WERE open.

A sign informed us that it was happy hour, so we settled in to peruse the menu. We couldn't decide what to order, so we asked the waitress what they were known for; she said that the shepherd's pie and the chicken pot pie were favorites of the regulars. My husband opted for chicken wrap and french onion soup, I decided to go with the recommended chicken pot pie.

My husband said the soup and wrap were very good, but I have to say the pot pie was the BEST I have ever had! The chicken and vegetables were plentiful, and the sauce was nice and creamy and not too heavy. But the "crust", ooooh the crust on top... that was what made it so AMAZING! It was a thick square of super light, flaky, crispy puff pastry, and it was the perfect topping for the tasty goodness underneath. Unlike many people who order pot pie FOR the crust, I usually pick most of the heavy traditional crust off standard pot pies, but I ate every bite of this one.

We'll be back here again soon for sure!

The Irish Wonton appetizer is lovely and crispy on the outside and soft inside. The steak had a beautiful char and nice seasoning. The sauce for the steak really complements the whole dish and is fantastic to dip french fries in too. I really love their house beer, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the ambience is wonderfully comfy. A pretty perfect pub imho.

Had a surprise party for my husband's birthday with about 60 guests. From set up to actual event day, the process was a breeze. Marty was responsive and helpful with planning and Jen (Jenn), the manager on duty was super-helpful on event day. I think the servers were a little overwhelmed with our big party, but they stayed friendly throughout. plus, the food was delicious! My husband and are are looking forward to going back for a dinner for two!

I have been going to Malloy’s since it opened! It’s my favorite place to go for dinner or drinks with friends. The owner always takes the time to say hi. The staff is like part of my family! The menu has dishes my mom use to make! I never leave sad or hungry!
