Backfins Grille

We were on our way to another restaurant on Ritchie Hwy. for crab cakes and decided to check out this grill since we had not been there before. We decided to stay after viewing the menu....glad we did. The crab cakes we ordered were delicious. We will definitely be going again and trying other menu items.

Came here the weekend before 4th of July so it was pretty slow and was to be expected but they didn’t disappoint!!! Service was prompt and food was excellent!!! The drinks from the bar took a little longer than we thought given there were only 2 patrons at the bar and we only ordered 2 drinks. One thing I’d recommend and the biggest reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was due to the older gentleman walking around speaking to the tables. I can’t speak on any table but my own, however, he stood behind us checking on our experience which was fine but then he tapped my head while trying to remember a what holiday it was. A little weird, inappropriate, and awkward. He then returned and came around to the other side of our table and touched my daughters arm while again addressing our experience. It was harmless but left us with an unsettling and bothersome feeling. All in all a great experience but could do without the several lengthy and awkward encounters. We were trying to enjoy our food and not discuss it at the same time.
