Timbuktu Restaurant

As usual, the food was very good. Enjoyed the club sandwich, it was very tasty. The service is good, as usual as well. The food does take a while to come out, so be prepared to wait for a little while. Overall, I would rate it 4.5 - very good food, good service, just a slightly slow kitchen.

This place is known for its crab cake, and for good reason. We stopped in for lunch. While the sandwiches were admittedly pricey, and it certainly wasn't a quick lunch, the food delivered on all cylinders. The crab cake sandwich was amazing and the burger was outstanding.

I'd recommend it for dinner first, but if you're in the area and have the time, lunch won't disappoint you either!

Excellent food, very clean and nice decor, wait staff very clean appearance, and very friendly. Food was served in a timely manner and was better then anticipated. The crab cakes were very large, well prepared and the tastiest crab cake ever. All four of us were very satisfied with our meal the was prepared to perfection. Food was reasonably priced, and bathrooms were very clean. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Went to celebrate my b-day. First time eating inside Timbuktu. Got the Cream of Crab soup. The texture was good but the taste was very bland. Had to add Old Bay, black pepper & a pinch of salt to give it taste. Crab Dip was good but should've gotten more for your money. You get more french bread than you do Crab Dip. Steak & Crab Platter was good. Steak excellent & Crab Cake wasn't as good as I had it 2yrs ago. The Crab cake is smaller & more of filler. Good portion of the menu is blackened out. Out of several menu choices & sides. The Strawberry Shortcake was dry & the Apple pie had mold on top. The Service was good for a busy Sat night. Bottom line is the food is overpriced.
