I felt hesitant to give four or five stars. It is expensive but the soft shell crab and crab cake are just soooooo good!! The soft shell crab is crunchy, well-seasoned outside after frying and crispy, juicy inside. Crab cake is also good, the meat still its own taste and texture. Alright, 5 starts..

Proper Maryland food, particularly the crabcakes. There's even a shaker of Old Bay right alongside the salt and pepper on each table!

All of it was flawless, and the drinks were superbly mixed. Overall, in spite of how busy and noisy it was, it was an excellent date night. We'll be back.

I came here two years ago when visiting my friends, and I have waited to come back and have this soft shell crab sandwich. It is magical. And even two years later, it holds up to my memory of how amazingly delicious it was.
Crab cakes are also awesome, as are the oyster shooters. Steamed oysters and steamed shrimp are both great too.
But if you don't get this soft shell crab, you're living your life wrong.

I had lunch there and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was fairly extensive, but I can only comment on the turkey melt with was outstanding. Also, kudos to Autumn, who was the most pleasant server I've had in recent memory. She was friendly, made great eye contact, and provided excellent service. Truly a breath of fresh air!

What an excellent choice! I can't say enough about this restaurant.

My 17 year old son was in a mood after our flight from Atlanta. He was hungry and I knew that food was the only thing that would bring him back to his normal state.

I read many reviews about the Boatyard Bar and Grill. What grabbed my attention was the description of the crab cakes. Well, we arrived and were seated. Our waitress showed up and began telling us about the specials for the day. She provided further details about the items that we were interested in.

Well, we ordered the crab and spinach dip and the crab cake sandwich. The dip was oh so delicious and came with lightly toasted bread. Truly a delight to the palate! When our sandwiches were brought to our table, I couldn't believe the size of the crab cake itself. I had to break my sandwich down into sections. And yes, it was absolutely phenomenal!????????

Last but not least, kudos to JESSICA; she was so attentive. Before we could ask for anything, she made it available, including keeping our glasses filled. She was so genuine and engaged to our presence. Thank you for an awesome experience!
