New Matsu Sushi

When I lived in the apartments behind this restaurant this was my go-to! Great sushi, great friend rice, great staff! Much better than Joss and better prices.

This is a small sushi/ Japanese food spot in Annapolis. It's located near the CVS/Ledos on south cherry grove off forest. I like going to this spot because they always have great service and good food! The sushi here is always great quality and fresh and they are accommodating for modifications when you request them. They also have some good sushi options that don't have raw fish and they also have good options for lunch/dinner entrees, so everyone is able to find something they enjoy! It's also a great place for take out if you prefer to pick up and eat at home.

I recently discovered this place and I have to say, I like it! I would place it a step under a place like Joss in downtown Annapolis but definitely some decent sushi! The lunch special was 10.75$ (if I'm remembering correctly) for 5 peices of sushi, a California roll, and some miso soup. I really enjoyed it! Wait time was fast! About 12ish minutes after I called I was able to pay and pick up my meal. Overall I think I will be coming back here soon.

This is my local sushi joint. We love it! The prices are right and the selection of rolls are outstanding. Everything we have tried thus far has been delicious. My kids even like to eat here which is amazing since they usually only eat things covered in cheese. Service is friendly just be patient, its a family run place so cut them some slack. Yummy.

We use it mostly for take out. Best local sushi. Vast menu. Usually prompt service. Reasonable prices.
