Great casual spot for good pizza and italian dishes. BYOB so don't plan on ordering adult drinks, but there is a liquor store a short walk away so pickup a bottle of wine and check it out! The gnocchi is hand made and as good as I've had without spending big $s at a fancy restaurant.
The food is very good, but there is a young man that works there that is very rude, (I've seen him several Monday nights of the cash register). The staff is very curt, and even though I like it better than ordering from a large chain, I don't often want to deal with rude workers after a long day at work. If they delivered, I would order quite often, and I think so would most of Cape St. Claire. It is nice to have a glass of wine with dinner, and they do not serve alcohol. I think they should decide if they want to have higher prices as they do and serve wine, or be more of a delivery/takeout place.
friendly quality service. Very good food. We Always leave their happy and full.
A nice reminder of classic fast New York Italian. Pizza is an excellent bet, and saw many folks enjoying their salads. Bread is wonderful, but not thrilled with the sauces for the pastas. Still quite good for the price and service is quick and fairly pleasent.
Order ahead for pickup and save yourself some time, even if you want to sit down and eat your meal.
As of Jan 2019 the Bring-Your-Own-Wine policy is CANCELLED :-( Lots of us regulars (based on many positive G-Maps reviews) REALLY liked that aspect; it WAS something distinctive that made this place really stand-out. While the food is as good as ever, by this decision they've killed off a big part of the "value" of going to Spizzicos. Now they're just another run-of-the mill Italian joint-- and a PRICEY one at that! Sad.
